RapidCanvas Secures $29M Series B to Scale Enterprise AI Solutions

Austin, Texas – RapidCanvas, a burgeoning startup specializing in building and running custom AI applications for enterprises, has announced a successful close of its Series B funding round, raising $29 million. Led by Vertex Ventures SEA & India, with the notable addition of Hitachi Ventures, this investment pushes the company's total funding to $52.5 million.

The Series B round, announced on Friday, October 16, 2026, saw continued participation from existing investors Accel, Peak XV Partners, Valley Capital Partners, and Titanium Ventures. This latest influx of capital follows a $16 million Series A round secured in December 2024, underscoring strong investor confidence in RapidCanvas's unique approach to enterprise AI.

Democratizing AI for Businesses

RapidCanvas distinguishes itself by integrating an advanced AI agent platform with dedicated field engineers. These engineers work closely with clients to understand their specific operational workflows, subsequently developing and deploying bespoke AI applications. These custom solutions are designed to seamlessly connect with and update core business software, including CRM and ERP systems, automating complex tasks and driving efficiency.

Rahul Pangam, co-founder and chief executive of RapidCanvas, articulated the company's mission: “AI can be the great equalizer, but so far its biggest wins have gone to the Fortune 100.” This funding aims to broaden access to Fortune 100-grade AI capabilities, making sophisticated artificial intelligence accessible and actionable for a wider array of businesses.

Remarkable Growth and Future Vision

RapidCanvas has demonstrated significant market traction, reporting an impressive eightfold increase in annual recurring revenue (ARR) over the past six quarters. While specific revenue figures and valuation details were not disclosed, the company confirmed that more than 75 enterprises have leveraged its AI applications this year, a testament to its impactful solutions.

The newly secured capital is earmarked for strategic expansion across several key areas. RapidCanvas plans to bolster its sales teams and forge new partnerships with private equity firms and advisers. A substantial portion of the investment will also be directed towards expanding its global talent pool, specifically by hiring more AI engineers in the United States, Brazil, and India.

Advancing Contextual AI and Market Landscape

Further investment will target the enhancement of RapidCanvas’s proprietary Enterprise Context Engine. This critical component is designed to store and utilize a client's specific business rules and definitions, enabling its AI applications to operate with greater contextual understanding and precision within complex enterprise environments. This focus highlights a growing trend in the AI sector to imbue agents with deeper organizational knowledge.

The broader enterprise AI market is experiencing robust investor interest, as evidenced by other significant funding rounds. For instance, Uvi recently secured $7.5 million in seed funding to provide AI agents with comprehensive company context, directly addressing a similar challenge. Similarly, Dust raised $40 million in Series B funding to develop multiplayer AI tools designed to facilitate collaborative AI use within teams, showcasing the diverse applications and strong demand for AI solutions tailored to business needs.

RapidCanvas’s latest funding round not only validates its hybrid approach of combining advanced AI agents with human expertise but also positions it to significantly expand its footprint in the rapidly evolving enterprise AI landscape, bringing powerful, custom-built AI solutions to more companies globally.
